Her parents struggled to have a baby for nine years before adopting her brother Alexander in 2011. Six days after adopting their first child, they discovered they were pregnant with her.

She is the first biological child of Alicia and Joshua Brian Dougherty. She has three older brothers and one older sister. She is the second addition to the Dougherty Dozen.

In March 2021, her mother posted a TikTok of her and her sisters lip syncing to lyrics by Corinne Bailey Rae.
