Zhu Chen

A Chinese chess Grandmaster and one of the top women's chess players in the world.

In 1988 she became the first Chinese player to win an international chess competition at the World Girls Under-12 Championship.

As a child prodigy, her family was very supportive of her pursuit of chess.

She paved the way for other Chinese players in international competition such as Bu Xiangzhi.
