Before Fame
He was an All-Southeastern Pennsylvania defensive back for La Salle College High School. He was a two-time national prep champion wrestler as well.

His father was a high school football coach. He has an older brother, Tim, who served as Chief Business Officer of the Philadelphia Union Major League Soccer franchise.
