Striker who played for CF America in the Mexican Liga MX from 2011 to 2014 before joining Atlético Madrid. He became a member of the Mexican national team in 2013. In 2019, he was officially signed by the Wolverhampton Wanderers after playing on loan for one season with the club.

He grew up in the city of Tepeji in Hidalgo, Mexico. He began dating actress Daniela Basso. They have a daughter together who was born on July 21st, 2020. In May 2022, they welcomed a second child named Ander.
