Former Olympic swimmer who met her husband, Prince Albert, at a swimming event in 2001. She represented South Africa at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and she is a global ambassador for the Special Olympics. She retired from swimming professionally in 2007.
Before Fame
She swam for the University of Pretoria despite never enrolling in classes.
Trivia
- Her best showing as a swim me was at the 1999 All-Africa Games in Johannesburg where she won three gold medals and a silver medal. She does charity work involving AIDS and underprivileged children.
Family Life
She married Albert II, Prince of Monaco in 2011. Her son is Jacques Honoré Rainier Grimaldi. She also has twins, Princess Gabriella, and Prince Jacques.

She would have been the daughter-in-law of Grace Kelly if Kelly were still alive.
