Former NFL Punter who was drafted out of West Virginia University in 2009 and made the PFWA All-Roookie Team in his first season with the Indianapolis Colts. He was named a First-Team All-Pro in 2014, averaging 46.7 yards per punt. He played with the Colts from 2009 until 2016. After the NFL, he became popular as a broadcaster, eventually landing a large deal with ESPN for The Pat McAfee Show.

He played soccer as well as football at Plum High School in Plum, Pennsylvania.

- He has been a regular guest on the award-winning morning radio show The Bob & Tom Show. His longest punt ever was 74 yards.
Family Life
He has dated 2010's Miss Indiana USA Allison Biehle. His parents are Tim and Sally McAfee. He married his girlfriend Samantha in 2019 and the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in 2023.

One of his first jobs in media was with Barstool Sports which was founded by Dave Portnoy. He's frequently appeared on ESPN's College GameDay alongside Lee Corso.
