Michael Penix Jr.

Southpaw quarterback that originally began his college football career at Indiana University as a freshman in 2018. After three seasons with Indiana, he then transferred to the University of Washington as a senior in 2022. During his time at Washington, he earned All-PAC 12 honors and MVP of the 2022 Alamo Bowl.

He is a graduate of Tampa Bay Technical High School. While in high school, he played football, and baseball, and ran track.

He grew up living with his parents in the Tampa, Florida area. He is the son of Takisha and Michael Penix. In November 2023, he began dating Olivia Carter. In December 2024, he got engaged to Olivia Carter.

He played against Former NCAA Heisman winner Caleb Williams during the 2022 NCAA season.
