Matthias Tryggvi Haraldsson

Icelandic singer who co-founded the punk rock band Hatari which became known for their anti-capitalist performance art roots. They've released a number of hit singles including "Odyr," "Spillingardans" and "Klefi / Samed."

He graduated from the Iceland University of the Arts and created a one-man play called Griðastaður.

He formed Hatari with his cousin Klemens Hannigan. His mother Gunnhildur is an artist and his father Haraldur is a business owner. He got engaged to Brynhildur Karlsdo?ttir in September 2021.

Bjork and JJ Julius Son are two other successful singers who were born in Iceland.
