Matthew West

Christian musician and actor known for such hit songs as "More," "You Are Everything," "The Motions," and "Forgiveness."

He was an avid baseball player in high school, but his hopes for a college baseball scholarship never came to fruition. He instead received a four-year music scholarship to Illinois' Millikin University.

He married Emily West in 2003. Together they have two daughters.

He wrote songs for artists like Billy Ray Cyrus before becoming an independent musician himself.
