Majlinda Kelmendi

Kosovar judoka who became the top-ranked judoka in the world in the 52 kilogram weight class in 2013. The next year, she won gold at both the European Judo Championships and World Judo Championships.

She was born in the city of Peje and began practicing judo in 1999.

Her mother's name is Fikrete and her father's name is Ismet.

She and the United States' Kayla Harrison are both winners of the World Judo Championships.
