Kelsie Whitmore

American professional baseball player best known as a pitcher/outfielder. She made history in 2016 when she became the first woman to play in a professional baseball game since the 1950s when she joined the Pacific Association's Sonoma Stompers. In 2022, she made history yet again when she became the first woman to play in the Atlantic League with the Staten Island FerryHawks. In 2025, she signed with the Savannah Bananas before debuting in Baltimore against The Firefighters.

She played Little League and PONY Baseball throughout her youth, as well as Temecula Valley High School's baseball team, where she was the only female player and also played soccer and golf. She went on to attend Cal State Fullerton on a scholarship to play softball for the Titans. In 2021, she was declared the Big West Conference's softball player of the year.

Her father Scott has had a significant impact on her life and career, encouraging her pursuit of a baseball career and often accompanying her to games. She has a younger brother, with whom she has played baseball since they were both young.

She was named on the Savannah Bananas' 2025 roster alongside teammates including Ryan Cox and Dakota Albritton.
