Born to Robin Madden and Roger Combs, he and Joel have an older brother named Josh and a younger sister named Sarah. He married actress Cameron Diaz in January 2015 and in December 2019, they welcomed a daughter named Raddix. In March 2024, they welcomed a son named Cardinal.
