She began modeling as a teen, but her career didn't really take off until the birth of her son, which happened when she was 19.

She had a son named Nikko in 2009. She became engaged to Boniface Verney-Carronin in January of 2017 and they married in June of that year.

She and model Abbey Kershaw have both held exclusive contracts with the Italian fashion house Fendi.
